Our Pastor

Pastor Aaron Mead was saved in 2010 at age 25 while living in western Washington, where he and his wife Keri served the Lord faithfully in their local church until 2016 when the Lord moved their family to North Idaho. Around this same time pastor Aaron surrendered to God’s call upon his life to preach the gospel. Soon after arriving in Idaho the Meads Joined Zion Baptist Church that later would merge with and become Post Falls Baptist Church. Brother Aaron was asked to be the assistant pastor of Post Falls Baptist Church where he had opportunity to receive very practical training for ministry under leadership of his Pastor Seth Hohenstreet. In 2018 God began to share his burden with the Meads for the small city of Athol Idaho. In 2021 the Meads began a midweek Bible study in their home where God blessed with families coming to know Christ as their Savior and a shared burden to see a Bible preaching Church established in Athol. In May 2022 Good Hope Baptist Church held their first Sunday morning Church service, with Pastor Aaron as the Church planting Pastor.  Pastor Aaron is bi-vocational, he provides for his family as a carpenter. He has a love for people and a longing to see them come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior and live the abundant life Jesus promised them.

Pastor Aaron and Miss Keri have been blessed with three beautiful daughters, who serve alongside their parents in every part of ministry.
